Environmental Awareness Programme At Patna

On 28th and 29th January 2016 Arunima Kashyap, Shriyanshee, Ayush and Prasenjit from Earth5R Patna Team organised two days Environmental Awareness programme at Kendriya Vidyalaya No.1, Kankarbagh, Patna, Bihar.

On both days, the activities took place between 8 am and 12.30 pm for the students of standard 4th and 5th. Two sets of Environmental awareness programme was held. The team also organised  ‘Best out of Waste’ activity along with an environmental quiz competition.

Earth5R team also hosted a plantation programme. The school’s teachers and principal also joined them. They appreciated Earth5R’s effort in creating awareness among students and requested the team to arrange more of such activities in future for other classes.

A non-profit organisation Sevarth Foundation deserved a special acknowledgement for the financial support and execution of the programme. The school authorities were equally supportive and involved while the children had fun learning experience.
