Sustainable Development of Natural Resources is a  Must

Eminent plant scientist associated with the Botanical Garden of Indian Republic Noida, Sheo Kumar, on Saturday emphasized the need for sustainable development of natural resources and the adoption of healthy practices for protecting the environment from degradation. He was delivering a special lecture on “Mother nature, we, and our duties for rejuvenation” organized at M D College, Naubatpur, on Saturday. 

“Indiscriminate exploitation of groundwater resources, excessive use of chemical fertilizers and pesticides, and unnecessary printing of papers must be minimized to help create a better environment on the planet for all living organisms,” he said. 

BN Mandal University’s pro-vice-chancellor Abha Singh and the college’s former principal Ram Raj Singh also addressed the teachers and students on occasion. College principal K P Sinha presided over the event. 

The winners of various competitions were awarded prizes and certificates on occasion. The program was conducted by HOD, the political science department, and Vandana. Zoology department head Rishikesh Kumar proposed a vote of thanks.
