Brief info
Claire is a second-year student pursuing a degree in Business at New York University Stern School of Business. She is currently studying abroad in Abu Dhabi and hopes to travel to Africa during this semester.
Before moving to Abu Dhabi, Claire has lived in China, Singapore, London, and New York. She is an also an avid traveler; from the cliffs of Bhutan to the fjords of Norway to the forests of Latvia, she is fascinated by new environments and excited to meet new people. Claire speaks English, Mandarin, and German fluently, and loves learning new languages. She feels that learning a new language helps her acquire new perspectives and better understand others from different language and cultural backgrounds.
Claire also has her own social enterprise distributing solar lamps to low-income students in rural Cambodia. She finds it rewarding to apply her business knowledge to help the environment and the less-privileged and believes that she will be able to achieve great things through small steps.
