Delhi

Sanchi Singh is an avid traveller, editor, writer and an environmentalist at heart, who loves to explore new things and meet new people and, engage in purposeful activities.

Sanchi holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Plant Sciences from Hindu College, University of Delhi. She is currently pursuing Masters in Environmental Science which involves a research project at School of Environment Science, Jawahar Lal Nehru University, New Delhi. This research is on Hydro Chemical aspects and involves working on the quality parameters of water.

She had been part of the environmental society in her college and has been a part of several events and campaigns for raising environmental awareness among the people. She firmly believes environmental science is much more than plants and green environment – it’s an amalgamation of various sciences; its core characteristics and its properties all tagged together to make the extremely dynamic branch of Environment Science.

Sanchi deeply promotes “Sustainable Development” and acknowledge people with new green technologies. She believes if everyone does their own bit then half of the problem would be resolved.

She has been part of many projects, groups and has written stories for different genres from travel, fashion, events and food. She has been associated with Hindustan Times, WWF, Delhi Food Walk, Limeroad. She has also been part of various environmental groups in Delhi such as Panchtatva and Sanjeevni. She believes that there is no dearth of options for people who just love to explore the world with open arms.

Sanchi’s love for Delhi is unbound and she likes to experience the different shades of the beautiful city. In her free time, you can find her checking out a new cafe or any new event in the city.
