Clean-Up Drive At Industrial Area, Thane By Earth5R

A clean-up drive was organized by three members of Earth5R from Thane at Wagle estate, Thane on 30th August 2015. Mayur Raje, Julkarnain Mir, Gandhar Nimkar with another friend started the drive from road number 28, Ram Nagar, Wagle Estate in Thane. They chose that area as it is an industrial area and thus it was more threatened by plastic waste. The drive started at 10 in morning and went on for the next two hours. Plastic bottles and wrappers as well few plastic bags were collected. All the waste was gathered in a corner and then handed over to a municipality worker nearby to dispose it to safe place.
